Ashleigh has been a member of the Australian team since 2008. During that time she has experienced the many highs and lows associated with elite sport. She missed selection for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, had a knee reconstruction at the age of 17 plus suffers ongoing patella tendonitis however through pure determination, dedication and hard work she has gone on and achieved the following:

  • Playing over 170 games for Australia
  • Scored over 60 goals at International level
  • Been a member of the Hockeyroos leadership group
  • Been awarded Australia’s leading goal scorer in 2010 & 2013
  • Won gold at the 2014 Glasgow & 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games
  • Won silver at the 2014 & 2009 Champions Trophy
  • Won silver at the 2014 World Cup, Holland
  • Won silver at the 2013 World League Series, Tucuman
  • Represented Australia at the 2012 Olympic Games, London
  • Won gold with the WA Diamonds in 2006, 2007, 2008 &amp 2010

Ashleigh is currently aspiring to represent Australia at the upcoming 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil, while assisting the Hockeyroos return to #1 in the world rankings.
